Pros
- •Excellent cleaning performance; dishes come out squeaky clean.
- •Dishes and cups are completely dry after the cycle.
- •Operates very quietly, which is great for open-plan homes.
- •Offers more space for dirty dishes compared to previous models.
- •Convenient top controls for easy operation.
- •The silverware basket is adjustable with two parts for enhanced flexibility.
Cons
- •Customer service and delivery issues, including incorrect and damaged items, as well as unsatisfactory resolution support.
- •Loading design is problematic, as rack spindles are angled, complicating the fitting of larger items like cookie sheets.
- •Middle rack arrangement complicates the loading of glasses and use of the third rack simultaneously.
- •Limited flexibility in loading due to defined shapes and levels of the middle rack.
- •Requires frequent running because it accommodates fewer dishes.
- •Reviewers noticed that prior positive reviews might be promotional and not reflective of actual user experiences.
Bottom Line
While the Kenmore 24" Built-In Dishwasher delivers excellent cleaning results and runs quietly, several users have encountered significant challenges with its rack design and customer service. The difficulty in efficiently utilizing the space for larger items might make this model less ideal for households with diverse dishwashing needs. Consider if the high cleaning performance outweighs the limitations in space usage before making your purchase.
